The Active Tap in Action

Designed to offer more than standard tap functionality, the Franke Active Tap incorporates features that give users greater control over water flow and temperature settings. The integrated ECO Cartridge and stepped lever mechanism are designed to support more efficient water use by limiting flow when full flow capacity is not required. Users can select the water volume most appropriate for the task being performed.

Designed to help reduce water consumption

The stepped lever allows users to select between two flow positions.

The first position delivers approximately 50% of the maximum flow rate, which may be sufficient for many everyday kitchen activities such as rinsing, filling containers or washing dishes. The second position provides the tap's full flow capacity whenever higher water flow is needed.

By encouraging the use of lower flow settings where appropriate, the Active Tap is designed to help reduce water consumption compared with operating the tap continuously at maximum flow. Actual savings will depend on user behaviour and application.

Eco Cartridge

The ECO Cartridge is designed to help limit water flow and manage hot water use through adjustable settings. By combining flow control and temperature management features, it supports more efficient use of water and energy during everyday kitchen activities. Actual water and energy savings will vary depending on installation conditions and usage patterns.

Stepped lever

The stepped lever provides two flow settings, enabling users to select either a reduced-flow position or the maximum available flow. The reduced-flow position is designed to provide sufficient water delivery for many routine kitchen tasks while potentially reducing overall water consumption. Actual results depend on individual usage habits.

Temperature limiter

The integrated temperature limiter allows users to adjust the maximum hot-water setting. By limiting unnecessary hot-water use, the feature may help reduce the energy required to heat water, depending on household usage patterns and system configuration.

J-Spout or L-Spout options available

With a choice of Harmonic J-Spout or Pure L-Spout designs, there's an Active Tap to suit your style.

Wide choice of finishes

With the Active Tap Harmonic J-Spout offering a choice of contemporary colours and the Pure L-Spout also available in a range of soft, sophisticated hues, you're sure to find the perfect fit for your kitchen and home.

Laminar aerator

The laminar aerator fitted in the spout ensures the Active Taps delivers a crystal clear, non-splashing water stream, with very little noise.

Add the dual spray option

Available for all Active Tap models, the dual spray design option delivers a powerful stream through its needle spray. This helps you to remove stubborn dirt from dishes, fruit, vegetables, or even the hard-to-reach parts of your sink.
